Welcome to Snackbox. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Snackbox mobile application ("App") and any related services provided by Divergent Network Online Ltd ("we", "our", or "us").
By downloading, accessing or using Snackbox, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum legal age required in your country, to use Snackbox.
If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
2. Account Registration
Certain features require you to create an account.
You agree to:
Provide accurate information.
Keep your login credentials secure.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Subscriptions
Snackbox is free to download but requires an active subscription to access premium features.
Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on the device you use.
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings (iOS) or Google Play account settings (Android).
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use the App for unlawful purposes.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.
Reverse engineer, copy or modify the App.
Interfere with the operation or security of the service.
Use automated systems or bots to abuse the platform.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
5. AI-Generated Information
Snackbox uses artificial intelligence to estimate calories, macronutrients and nutritional information.
While we aim to provide accurate estimates, AI-generated information may not always be correct.
You acknowledge that:
Nutritional estimates are approximations.
Results should not replace professional medical or dietary advice.
You remain responsible for your own health and dietary decisions.
6. Medical Disclaimer
Snackbox is designed for informational and educational purposes only.
It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition.
Always seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional before making significant dietary or health decisions.
Never ignore professional medical advice because of information provided by the App.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of any information you submit to the App, including meal descriptions, food photographs and other content.
You grant us a limited licence to process this information solely for the purpose of operating and improving Snackbox.
8. Intellectual Property
Snackbox, including its software, branding, graphics, logos and content, is owned by Divergent Network Online Ltd and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our prior written permission.
9. Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
We may update, modify or discontinue features at any time.
Scheduled maintenance or unexpected technical issues may temporarily affect availability.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Divergent Network Online Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for your subscription during the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
11. Termination
You may stop using Snackbox at any time by deleting your account and cancelling your subscription.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Where changes are significant, we will notify users through the App or by other appropriate means.
Continued use of Snackbox after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Scotland.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
14. Analytics, Advertising & Tracking
We use third-party tools to help us understand how Snackbox is used and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, including AppsFlyer (mobile attribution and measurement), Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook/Instagram advertising measurement) and Google Tag Manager (tag management on our website).
On iOS, any feature that relies on your device's advertising identifier will only operate after you have granted permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change this permission at any time in your device settings.
